That’s right,  There’s a small tea shop in the Kottayam district of Kerala that sells over 200 kilos of Pazhampori a day. This shop is located in a place called Vallichira in Kottayam. It’s on the way from Kottayam to Pala. “In Kottayam, Kerala, Mohanettan’s shop is very crowded these days because of its famous pazhampori.

The pazhampori at Mohanettan’s shop is made on a traditional wood-fired stove, which gives it a unique taste, the best combination with pazhampori at Mohanettan’s shop is their hot beef – it’s a great combo.

Besides pazhampori and beef, they also have a variety of snacks, breakfast, and lunch options available. You often see people coming from far away just to eat there. They also have other famous dishes made with tapioca, as well as a variety of other snacks that are sold in high demand . Even though this tea shop is very old, they still try to maintain the original taste. They cook the food in traditional coconut oil and use natural curry powders.

One thing to note about this shop is that when you enter, you’ll see bunches of bananas hanging inside. Those bananas are all used for making pazhampori and sold on the same day .The shop gets very crowded in the evenings .
